With the property leased from the Port for up to 80 years, Key Development began construction of this 45,000 sq. ft. building (35,000 sq. ft. footprint) in April 2012 and completed it in January 2013. The first tenant was Custom Interface Inc., a local manufacturer of cable assemblies. With this project, Key Development became the first non-Port developer at Bingen Point and launched an era of construction by private parties. At the end of the ground lease, ownership of the facility will revert to the Port.
